We complete our city tour with a walk along Knez Mihajlova Street, considered the heart of the city. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and check-in. Overnight at our hotel.

### Day 2: Belgrade

After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, guests who wish can join the extra organized full-day Karlovci & Novi Sad tour.

We first visit Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, the capital of the Vojvodina region in northern Serbia. After a photo break with the magnificent view of Novi Sad from the fortress, we proceed to the city center. During our walking tour in this city where Albert Einstein also lived for some time, the Freedom Square, Svetozar Miletić Monument, Catholic Cathedral, Orthodox St. George Cathedral, St. Nicholas Church, and Synagogue will be seen panoramically. After our tour, we set off to visit the town of Sremski Karlovci (Karlofça), which also holds an important place in our history. The town, whose history dates back to 7000 BC and has always held an important place in history, was home to the first Serbian middle school and high school. In Karlovci, which served as the center of the Serbian Orthodox Church until 1922, other sights we will see include the city council, Catholic Church, and the Four Lions Fountain. The town also holds an important place in Ottoman history due to the Treaty of Karlowitz dated 1699, which is considered the beginning of the decline period of the Ottoman Empire and the first treaty where large territories were lost. We also visit the Chapel of Peace located on the hill where the treaty was signed. After the free time given here, we end our tour.

### Day 3: Belgrade – Sarajevo

After breakfast at our hotel and checking out of the rooms, we depart for Sarajevo. Upon arrival in Sarajevo, we board our private bus for a city tour. We begin our walking city tour by getting off the bus in front of the iconic Central Library building. After visiting the Inat Kuca, whose story will surely surprise you, the Ottoman-era Latin Bridge, and the site where Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary and his wife were assassinated—a pivotal event leading to World War I—we continue toward Başçarşı, the heart of the city. Our tour proceeds through Sebil Meydanı, named after the sebil (a traditional public water fountain), a custom of the Ottoman Empire, and continues along the historic streets of Başçarşı that have preserved their original character. Other sights include Kurşunlu Medresesi, Morica Han, Gazi Hüsrev Bey Mosque, and the Clock Tower. The tour then moves along Ferhadija, the city's most popular street, showcasing buildings reflecting Austro-Hungarian imperial architecture, followed by the Catholic Cathedral, Markale Market, and the covered bazaar. Our tour concludes at the Eternal Flame Memorial, dedicated to the victims of World War II. Afterward, we transfer back to our hotel and check into our rooms.

### Day 4: Sarajevo

After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, guests who wish may join the extra Mostar & Blagaj tour with lunch.

We make our first stop in the town of Konjiç (Konyitz). Here we see the famous Konjiç (Konyitz) bridge, which has survived from the Ottoman era to the present day and was restored by Turkey. Continuing our journey along the Neretva River, we pause for a coffee break and enjoy the beautiful views of the river. Further along our route, on the Jablanica (Yablanitza) road, we view the panoramic scene of the sabotaged Nazi train and the destroyed bridge by Partisan soldiers during World War II. Then we continue towards Blagaj. Upon arrival, we visit the Alperens Dervish Lodge, which has been active for 550 years. The lodge is located slightly inland from the main road, built beside water emerging from beneath a very high and magnificent rock. Founded in the early 15th century, it has historically hosted the Qadiri, Rufai, Halveti, and Nakshbandi Sufi orders. (Guests who wish may visit the lodge.) After visiting the lodge, we have lunch and continue our journey towards Mostar. From the historic Koski Mehmed Bey Mosque, one of the enduring and unspoiled monuments of the Old Town, we view the historic Mostar Bridge, then visit the bridge itself. This bridge was built to allow the Ottoman army to cross during Sultan Suleiman's final campaign, the Siege of Szigetvár. It was destroyed by Croat forces during the war in 1993, and later restored to its original form by a Turkish company.
