👣 Footwear and Clothing

  • Comfortable Walking Shoes: A non-slip sports shoe is essential when climbing the Amasya Rock Tombs or navigating the steps of Tokat's Sulu Street without tiring your feet.
  • Layered Clothing: You should bring a cardigan or a light jacket to wear over your t-shirt for the morning chill, afternoon heat, and evening coolness.
  • Appropriate Attire: Since there will be visits to mosques, the Mevlevihane, and tombs, it is recommended for female visitors to carry a scarf in their bags and for men to opt for trousers/canvas instead of very short shorts for convenience.
  • Raincoat/Umbrella: The transition climate of the Black Sea can surprise you; a small umbrella or disposable raincoat in your bag can be lifesaving.

🎒 Bags and Equipment

  • Backpack: A small backpack is best to keep your hands free during the trip.
  • Museum Card: You will visit many museums (Amasya Museum, Hazeranlar Mansion, etc.) during the tour. To avoid wasting time at the entrance and paying extra fees, make sure your card is with you.
  • Powerbank (Backup Battery): You will likely be taking many photos with the view of Yalıboyu Houses and Yeşilırmak, so your charge could run out quickly.
  • Sun Glasses and Cream: Protecting yourself from the sun is important during outdoor walks (especially along the Ferhat and Şirin canals and the castle area).

💊 Health and Personal Care

  • Regularly Taken Medications: Basic needs like medicine for motion sickness, pain relievers, and stomach protectors.
  • Wet Wipes and Hand Sanitizer: These are necessary for hygiene during historical caravanserai visits and street tours.
  • A Small Water Bottle: You can carry this to drink from the famous fountains of Amasya and Tokat or to avoid buying water continuously.
