At the specified times in the morning, we pick up our valued guests from the designated meeting points and set off on a comfortable and enjoyable tour accompanied by our onboard refreshments. After a breakfast break along the way, we begin our tour in İznik, a unique meeting point of history and culture, with a visit to the İznik Archaeological Museum, which sheds light on the region's rich past. Following our museum visit, we see Lefke Gate, one of the most important entrances to the city's magnificent walls, offering us the opportunity to become closely acquainted with İznik's historical texture.
Continuing along our tour route, we visit the Yeşil Mosque, one of the important works of the early Ottoman period, and then tour the historic Nilüfer Hatun Imaret, where Turkish and Islamic works of art are exhibited. Later, we visit the Süleyman Paşa Madrasa, which today keeps the art of İznik tiles alive and hosts handicraft workshops, witnessing İznik's artistic and cultural heritage up close.
To trace the art of İznik tiles, which has made İznik famous worldwide, we tour the Tile Excavation Site, and then visit the Hagia Sophia Mosque, which has hosted important events throughout history. Afterwards, we proceed to the impressive Roman Theatre, which has survived from the Roman period to the present day, and discover the traces of antiquity.
We allow free time for lunch and enjoy a pleasant meal break. After lunch, we turn our route toward the Basilica site, located on the shore of Lake İznik and considered one of the world's most important underwater archaeological discoveries.
In the final part of our tour, we allow free time accompanied by the unique view of Lake İznik. You can take a walk by the lake, enjoy the day with tea or coffee, and fully savor İznik's peaceful atmosphere. After our pleasant walks here, we complete our tour program and set off to return to Çerkezköy. We drop our valued guests off at the points where we picked them up and say goodbye until we meet again at our next Mutlu Tur event.
