If you are looking for a getaway to escape the chaos of the city and breathe in the purest form of oxygen, "Journey to the Heart of Nature (Abant–Gölcük–Bolu Center)" is just for you. We set off early in the morning with our comfortable vehicle, embarking on a pleasant journey towards the lush forests of the Western Black Sea, accompanied by the soft lights of sunrise. Our first stop is Abant Lake, which offers a view that rivals postcards. We give free time along the lakeside, surrounded by pine and fir forests. Those who wish can take a walk around the lake, feeling the refreshing forest air. Let us remind photography enthusiasts that the lake presents a different beauty from every angle. It’s also possible to enjoy the view with a warm tea or coffee in the cafes by the lake. Around noon, we take a delightful break featuring local delicacies, recharging our energy with delicious examples of Bolu cuisine. We then change our route and head towards Gölcük, a quieter and more serene counterpart of Abant. The lake view surrounded by pine trees enchants especially those interested in photography, resembling a scene from a fairy tale. You can take walks along the lakeside and immerse yourself in the tranquility offered by nature as you watch the reflections of each curve of the lake in the water. In the last part of our day, we move on to Bolu Center. We take a short city tour in the uniquely serene atmosphere of the city, getting a close-up view of the historical texture and daily life. Our guests who wish can visit shops selling local products and shop for local cheeses, butters, homemade jams, and Bolu’s famous desserts. In this tour, participants will be picked up in comfortable vehicles at the first light of the morning and dropped off in the evening, allowing enough time to explore Abant, Gölcük, and the city of Bolu, providing a practical getaway without the need for accommodation.

Due to nature walks, photo stops, and free time in Abant and Gölcük, participants are required to bring suitable walking shoes and warm clothing for the season: Although the trails are generally easy to moderately difficult, it is recommended to wear sturdy, comfortable walking shoes to prevent slipping on dirt and forest paths. Especially in cool and windy weather, it is important to wear appropriate, layered, and warm clothing to avoid getting cold by the lakeside.

Since weather conditions can change suddenly in mountainous and forested areas, it is recommended to have a raincoat, umbrella, and spare clothing: The area around Abant and Gölcük can quickly turn sunny and then suddenly be hit by rain or fog. Therefore, having a lightweight raincoat, a collapsible umbrella, and spare socks and clothing for any possible wetness or sweating is advisable. The meals, drinks, and optional activities (such as ATV rides or horse-drawn carriages) you may have during the day are generally considered extra expenses.

There may be free time for a brief city tour in Bolu center and shopping for local products and souvenirs; therefore, it is suggested to carry cash or a bank card: In the local markets, bakeries, and small shops located in the city center, Bolu's famous products (such as village bread, local cheeses, sausage, walnut products, and delights) are sold. During this break, it is beneficial to have both cash and, if possible, a credit or bank card for your personal needs.

Throughout the tour, participants are expected to pay attention to environmental cleanliness in natural areas and follow the protection rules and the guide's instructions: As Abant and Gölcük are protected areas known for their natural beauty and ecosystem, it is crucial not to litter and to avoid harming plant and animal life. Complying with the walking routes, warnings, and national park rules set by your guide is necessary for your own safety and for the conservation of nature.
