TOUR PROGRAM
After meeting our valued guests, we start our journey for the day trip to Safranbolu - Amasra from Bolu with Mutlutour's buses. Our first stop is Safranbolu, which is famous for its historical houses. Following the directions to Gerede and Karabük, we reach Yörük Village, which is one of the 17 settlements created for Yörük tribes in Anatolia and has existed for 700 years. We will have the chance to learn about the history of the Yörüks and witness their traditions and lifestyle. After completing our visit to Yörük Village, we arrive in Safranbolu, which has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since December 17, 1994. When we arrive in Safranbolu, we first visit the Old Government Mansion, the Clock Tower built by İzzet Mehmet Pasha, and Hıdırlık Hill, where we can see the city from above and where the first Turks settled, known for rain prayers and Hıdırellez celebrations. We visit the tomb of Köstendil Kaymakam Hasan Pasha and the grave of Atatürk's Doctor Ali Yaver Ataman. Then we explore the Cinci Inn and Baths built by Cinci Hüseyin Efendi, İzzet Pasha Mosque and the Akçasu Canyon it is built upon, Köprülü Mehmet Pasha Mosque and the sundial in its courtyard, Yemeniciler Arastası, Demirciler Bazaar, and the Governor's House known as the house of the Commander of the Safranbolu Barracks, Kaim-Makam Hacı Mehmet Efendi. At the end of our visits, we arrive at İmren Lokumları, opened by Hidayet Sezer in 1942 after receiving his mastership certificate, where we taste the local Bağlar Soda while refreshing our knowledge about the region and doing some shopping. After completing our visits, we stop for lunch (extra). Then we head to Tokatlı Canyon, formed by the erosion of limestone plates over thousands of years in the bed of Hızar Stream, and we have the option to go up to the "Crystal Terrace" made of 3 glass panels, 80 meters high (extra) to take photos. Afterwards, we turn our route to Amasra, the pearl of the Black Sea coast, known for its beautiful coves and sandy beaches. First, we see the "Kuş Kayası" road monument, which is from the Roman period and is the only road monument in our country, panoramically along the way. Then we view the city from Bakacak Hill and descend to explore the heart of this charming city, which Fatih Sultan Mehmet admired with his famous saying, "Lala Lala, is this the one that is the Eye of the World?". During our walking tour, we will see the Barış Akarsu Monument, who is one of the artists who has influenced music in our country and is etched in golden letters in history. After our visit here, guests can take a boat tour (extra) to see Amasra's silhouette from the sea and witness the beauty that Fatih Sultan Mehmet admired. After the boat tour, we spend some free time completing our shopping and meet back at our vehicle. After gathering, we start our return journey to Bolu and conclude our tour. We end our tour with the hope to meet with our valued guests in another Mutlutour organization.
