GENERAL CONDITIONS :
The general conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered separately.
If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the agency can cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In such a case, the cancellation information is communicated to the guest. The entire tour fee is refunded to the guest. For additional services purchased outside the tour, including domestic connecting flights, the refund conditions vary; and if a visa service or travel health insurance is used to apply for a visa on behalf of the guest, these services are non-refundable once used. If a visa application has not been made, the visa and travel health insurance are canceled and the fee is refunded. If the guest has purchased internal connecting flights from a provider different from the agency, the agency holds no responsibility if the tour is canceled by the agency. The guest accepts the potential financial and emotional losses upon purchase, and the agency is not liable.
If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the agency has the good faith to not cancel the tour. In this case, the tour will be provided individually for the guest, and the included guide service will only cover the international outbound and inbound transfers.
Cancellation and Changes
Guests have the right to cancel without penalty by notifying the agency in writing at least 30 days before the departure. For cancellations made less than 30 days before, a fee of 75% of the total tour fee applies from 31 days to 14 days before, and the full tour fee applies for cancellations within 14 days or less. When cancelling, the conditions for refunds of extra services such as internal connections, visa services, and travel insurance vary according to the cancellation timing, and prior information should be requested. The agency cannot guarantee refunds for these extra services.
Guidance Services and Extra Tours
Extra tours are organized with a minimum participation of 20 people. If this number is not reached, tours may not take place or their prices and content may change. Additionally, tour days and times may be altered by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of museums and archaeological sites, weather conditions, and other local factors. During extra tours, different guides may accompany guests.
The vehicles allocated for extra tours are for the use of guests purchasing these tours only.
Panoramic city tours included in the package aim to give a general overview of the city; these are typically 2-3 hour tours from within the vehicle, including guide narration, and do not include entrance fees to museums or archaeological sites. These tours, as well as other specified tours, may be canceled if local authorities or circumstances prevent their realization, such as closures, restricted access, or weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted on foot or using public transport where access is restricted.
Our guide may modify the schedule of city or extra tours depending on the number of participants, site closures, or other conditions and is also subject to change due to flight schedule alterations. Participation in extra tours is optional; guests who choose not to participate agree to wait at convenient locations during the tour. These guests are picked up at the end of the tour from the designated point. Personal expenses during waiting are the responsibility of the guest.
Flights Information
The agency acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline. In case of disputes, Turkish regulations, the Hague Protocol, and the Warsaw Convention will apply.
Scheduled and charter flights may experience delays or schedule changes. The agency is obliged to inform of these changes as soon as possible. Passengers accept the risk of flight time changes or cancellations when purchasing the tour.
Children aged 0-2 only pay airport taxes.
According to airline rules, if round-trip tickets are purchased and the outbound flight is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline.
Check-in and boarding procedures for air travelers are personal processes that must be completed before the flight at airports or online through airline websites.
Last-minute delays or gate changes are announced over the airport’s public address system and displayed on information screens; passengers should monitor these updates.
Guests who do not arrive at the specified airport on time, or who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who fail to board the flight after check-in, are not the responsibility of the agency. Rebooking or arranging alternative flights for missed departures are the guest’s responsibility. Costs incurred are also borne by the guest.
Turkey-origin flights generally have a baggage weight limit of 20 kg; this may vary by airline and destination country. Internal flights within some countries may have a limit of 15 kg. Excess baggage fees are determined by the airline and are not the responsibility of the agency.
Guests wishing to upgrade their flight class using miles (to business or first class), must do so after ticketing and subject to airline availability. No mileage guarantee applies, and availability varies per flight.
Some airlines may charge extra for catering services or online check-in.
Other Matters
The agency is not responsible for any changes or cancellations made directly with the hotel. In such cases, the hotel's cancellation policy applies.
If hotel names are not specified and only categories are provided, or alternates are offered for the same destination, guests will be informed 48 hours prior to departure.
During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located in different areas or farther than usual. In such cases, the agency will inform the guest 15 days prior to departure.
At the time of booking, guests must enter their passport information correctly (name, date of birth, passport number); incorrect data may result in ticket cancellations or changes, with penalties borne by the guest.
Please check with your service provider before traveling abroad to confirm if your phone is unlocked for international use and your line is active.
Hotel check-in time is 15:00, and check-out time is 12:00.
The agency communicates any special requests (high floor, near common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) to the hotel. While efforts are made to meet these preferences, they depend on availability and are not guaranteed.
Breakfast at hotels reflects local customs and is usually a limited continental style (butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee). It may be served in a separate room allocated for groups.
Some accommodations may have double beds instead of twin beds. Many European hotels offer rooms with joinable beds.
Child and extra bed policies vary with each hotel and room type.
Extra beds and cots are provided upon request and subject to availability, and must be approved by the hotel.
The capacity for extra beds or cots is limited to one per room (maximum).
In three-person rooms, extra beds are smaller than standard beds. These rooms usually comprise one double bed plus one additional bed, often foldable or coach beds. Guests agree to any discomfort or bedding types resulting from these arrangements.
Incorrect declarations about the number of children or their ages at booking may lead hotels to charge extra. The responsibility for inaccuracies lies with the guest. Hotels may request age proof for children.
In reservations with 2 adults and 1 child, a separate bed for the child may not be provided. Child discounts are valid only when the child stays with two adults and falls within the specified age group. Child discounts apply only for children sharing a room with adults.
Exchange rates fluctuate during the day; prices are based on current rates at the time of payment. Additional services at the hotel (mini bar, iron, etc.) are extra and paid directly to the hotel during stay.
Different countries may impose city, tourism, or local taxes. These taxes are collected by the hotel at entry/exit and are payable by the guest.
The distances in the itineraries are map-based; actual travel durations may extend due to traffic, weather, road works, or other conditions.
The agency may, for necessity or discretion, alter the itinerary sequence or flight providers without changing the core program.
Guests are responsible for their belongings, including luggage, passports, or IDs. The agency is not liable for lost or stolen items. Costs for retrieval or delivery of lost items are subject to the owner.
Guests must carry their travel health insurance policy documents, medications, and reports if applicable.
Extra expenses during the stay, including deposits at the hotel for identification or security purposes, are at the guest’s expense and are subject to hotel policies. The deposit is refundable on checkout, but the agency has no involvement in this process.
Visa and Passport
Turkish citizens require a visa.
The agency acts as an intermediary with consulates and does not guarantee visa approval. Consulates may refuse or deny visas if deemed necessary. The agency is not responsible for visa refusal or delays. The agency only facilitates the application process. For personal visa applications, the agency has no obligations or responsibility. By registering for the tour, guests accept these terms.
For visa applications, a valid passport with at least 6 months remaining validity from the end date of the trip is required, along with documents listed in the receipt provided by the agency. Green passports do not require a visa; a passport valid for at least 6 months from the trip’s end is sufficient.
Guests with visas or using their own passports must ensure their passports are valid for at least 6 months beyond the travel end date.
There must be at least 2 free pages in the passport for entry and exit stamps.
Having a visa or a special passport (like a green or diplomatic passport) does not guarantee entry; border control authorities may deny entry/exit. The agency is not responsible and the traveler bears all risks.
Guests holding passports from countries other than Turkey or dual nationals using a different passport should consult the relevant consulate regarding visa requirements; the agency is not liable for issues arising from non-compliance.
Visa procedures can start up to 3 months before the departure date. It is recommended to complete visa applications early to avoid delays during peak periods or due to irregularities.
If using a green passport, and the passport's issuance date is over 10 years ago, the passport should be renewed, or travel may be refused, or flights may be canceled by airlines. Responsibility lies with the traveler.
Damaged, torn, or water-damaged passports may cause problems at border crossings; renewal may be necessary, especially for visas or if required by the destination country. Responsibility lies with the traveler.
Cancelled passports with valid Schengen visas cannot be used for entry.
Minors traveling alone or with only one parent should be aware that border officials may request a notarized consent letter from the absent parent. It is advisable for minors and parents to be prepared for this.
