Day 1 ISTANBUL - PRAGUE
We will meet at Istanbul Airport at the international departures terminal three hours before our flight to complete our ticket and baggage procedures. We are taking our flight to Prague. Upon arrival, we will start our panoramic city tour of Prague with a private bus. During our panoramic tour of Prague, the magnificent view of the Charles Bridge on the Vltava River awaits us. During our walk in the Mala Strana district, we will see the narrowest street in Prague, John Lennon Wall, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Astronomical Clock Tower, Meridian Line, Tyn Church, and the house where Franz Kafka was born. After the city tour, there will be free time and transfer to the hotel. For those interested, our guide will organize an extra option to join a Vltava River Boat Tour. On this special boat tour on the Vltava River, which splits Prague in half and is famous for its canals that bring life to the city, with an open buffet meal and live music, you will experience unforgettable night views of fairy-tale city Prague. While passing through channels similar to the Panama and Suez Canals, you will discover Prague’s enchanting atmosphere from a different perspective. After the boat tour, you will have a chance to see the city’s main streets and avenues illuminated at night from a panoramic view once again. Then, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay in Prague.
Day 2 PRAGUE
After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish can join an extra tour to Karlovy Vary (without meals). During this tour, we will see the unique nature of Karlovy Vary, which was a frequent stop for European aristocracy and statesmen in the 17th and 18th centuries, and built dozens of magnificent palaces side by side, the hotel where Atatürk stayed in 1918, the homes of Dvořák, Mozart, Goethe, Beethoven, Tsar Peter the Great, and Pushkin, and the thermal galleries where 12 different waters emerge. After the tour, there will be free time. During your free time, you may visit shops selling traditional Czech souvenirs. After the tour, we return to our hotel. For those interested, our guide will organize an extra Czech Night tour. In this special evening at a local Prague restaurant, you will enjoy traditional Czech music, folk dances, and shows in a captivating atmosphere. You will taste the delicious flavors of Czech cuisine, have fun, and experience the warm local culture. This is one of our most popular tours among our guests. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay in Prague.
Day 3 PRAGUE
After breakfast at the hotel, the entire day is free for shopping and sightseeing.
Those wishing can join an extra tour organized by our guide to Terezín Nazi Camp & Dresden (without meals). Terezín, which derives its name from Empress Maria Theresa and is located about 50 minutes from Prague, hosts the largest Nazi concentration camp in the Czech Republic. Built as a military barracks in 1780, it was converted into a Nazi concentration camp in 1940. About 33,000 people, including Jews, Roma, and dissidents, lost their lives here. During our Terezín Nazi Camp tour, we will visit the barracks where detainees stayed, communal showers, clinics, torture rooms, and the camp museum. We will also see the cell where Gavrilo Princip, the Serbian nationalist who assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary and triggered World War I, died. Then, we will visit Dresden, Germany, known as the “Florence on the Elbe,” one of the most beautiful cities in Germany, which was almost destroyed during three days of bombings in World War II but was reborn from its ashes. Today, Dresden features some of the most impressive examples of Baroque architecture. During our city tour, we will see the Semper Opera House, Zwinger Palace, Dresden Cathedral, Royal Palace, Tree of Life, Courthouse, Bruhl Terrace, Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady), and the statue of Martin Luther. After the tour, there will be free time for shopping and sightseeing in this enchanting city listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the late afternoon, we return to Prague and have free time. Those who wish can join an extra tour called the Medieval Night organized by our guide. At one of Europe's most historic and authentic 14th-century restaurants, you will enjoy an unforgettable evening amid a fascinating atmosphere with medieval music instruments, dances, and shows. You will feel like you have traveled back to the Middle Ages in this fairy-tale environment. We will transfer to our hotel and spend the night.
Day 4 PRAGUE - ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, there will be free time. Those who wish can join an extra tour organized by our guide to Kutná Hora. Located about an hour from Prague, Kutná Hora was the second most important city in Bohemia after Prague due to its silver reserves, which accounted for a third of Europe's silver in the 13th to 16th centuries. Known historically, it is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the tour, we will visit the Sedlec Ossuary, famous for its bone chandeliers and decorations made from human bones, where the bones of the victims of the plague and other victims are artistically arranged. We will also see the Church of our Lady Mary of the Snows, built in the 14th century, a prime example of Gothic architecture in the Czech Republic. After the tour, depending on flight schedules, we will transfer to the airport. Flight back to Istanbul. Arrival in Istanbul and end of the tour.
